Kerry Tunstall
A multidisciplinary artist, Tunstall (first class honors degree Fine Arts – University of Canterbury (New Zealand – 2009)) is involved in finding ways of creating art from electrical discharge and experiments with energy. The resulting artworks are (temporarily or permanently) communicated through performances, moving images and experimental printmaking techniques.
Tunstall often collaborates with scientist and electrical engineer. These collaborations culminated in an exhibition at the Science gallery in Dublin where the artist displayed live electricity for two months. More recently and internationally (2019), Kerry is currently working on the second stage for a collaborative project planned to happen in Uruguay.
For the outside of the gallery space, Tunstall added a print of a daring installation Wall of Light which consists of the filming of 15 000 Volts.
